Cat Cat Village
Cat Cat Village is far from the center of Sapa about 2 kilometers. It is a traditional village having handicralf jobs such as planting flowers, weaving and making bronze jewellery. H’mong people always attach special importance to maintain and polish these activities over time. Noticeably, this place still preserves so many unique customs which the other areas do not own or also do not have origin.
Ta Phin Village
One of the most attractively cultural villages in Sapa is Ta Phin Village. It has a friary which is a unique architecture originating from the western style built in the 19th century. Especially, it is discovered under the slime of ages thus still remaining its ancient beauty. To the southest which is opposite to the friary, it is an imposing view from Ham Rong Mountain. Surrounding this mountain is a wide range of rocks with fuzzy forms. The most remarkable characteristic is a giant carved dragon in a big rock, he is pulling himself and holding his head high to see the whole view of Sapa.
Ta Van Village
The view of Ta Van is vaguely poetic and beautiful, which makes numerous tourists addicted. When talking about Ta Van, people usually mention a lot of attractively colorful terraced fields. Sometimes, it has the green color stretching across hillside or mountain ranges. In another time, it has the yellow color of the fields not been harvested yet, likewise, it has the gray color of the ones which have just been harvested. All of the color shades highlight the inherent beauty of Ta Van more.
Ban Ho Village
Ban Ho Village is not as cold as Ta Phin Village or Ta Van Village. On the contrary, it is much warmer than these villages. Because of this weather, at noon, you can go float yourself in Lave Lake to relax and experience a very different way of swimming. Simultaneously, you can contemplate the imposing beauty of Da Nhay Waterfall. If you want to be in harmony with nature, Hoang Lien National Park is a great idea to go in Ban Ho Village. It has a space with a lot of kinds of tree providing a fresh atmosphere to enjoy.
Sin Chai Village
Sin Chai Village is in San Sa Ho Commune, it is far from Sapa Town about 4 kilometers walk. It is a village which has not developed tourism so it still maintains the original wilderness. It belongs to Black Mong people with the population about 1400 persons there. Beside planting rice and corn, local people also grow fruits to make ends meet in this valley.
